Testimonial: Comfort & Savings in New Hampshire
We are now comfortably enjoying our 16th cold, snowy winter in New Hampshire with an EarthLinked geothermal system. Admittedly, we took a bit of a leap of faith when building our Energy Star home in 2001, as we did not have any experience in geothermal technology.
We couldn’t be happier with our decision to install an EarthLinked unit.
“The comfort level and efficiency have exceeded our expectations.”
When faced with the need for a repair to the air handler this winter, we decided after 15 years that we would upgrade to the newer generation of EarthLinked system. Everyone at EarthLinked and our local dealer, Strogen’s Service Experts in Rochester NH, were very helpful as we weighed our options. A new 2-stage compressor unit and variable speed air handler were recently installed by Strogen’s. Every employee was professional, friendly and respectful. They even tolerated my constant curiousness and questions.
We are looking forward to another couple of decades in comfort and savings with EarthLinked.

Case Study: Net-Zero Home in Texas
Size of Residence: 1,877 sq. ft. living space
House Construction: open cell spray foam insulation; low-E double glazed, argon filled, vinyl windows; sealed attic; insulated slab perimeter; 6kW solar PV
HVAC System: 2-ton EarthLinked Geothermal Renewable Energy System with (3) 100’ diagonal earth loops and an Auxiliary Cooling Module
Water Heating: same EarthLinked system with desuperheater module
Energy Cost Savings: at 14ȼ per kWh, the EarthLinked system cost averages $1.88 per day, or 1ȼ per square foot per day, but PV energy sales to the utility exceed that amount
“Because of the EarthLinked system and 6kW solar PV system, in 2011 went over 12 months without an electric bill during the hottest summer ever recorded in Texas,” says homeowner Dale Walker.
“It uses very little electricity to operate, is very good at dehumidification in the summer and never dries out the air in the winter like a natural gas heating system. The home is always comfortable.”
