EarthLinked geothermal systems provide heating and cooling for the pool deck area, and heating for three pools.
Australia Geothermal Solutions recently installed six EarthLinked geothermal units at the at the Manjimup Regional AquaCentre in Western Australia. The facility consists of an 8-lane lap pool, a free form leisure pool with walking lanes, a children’s pool and a multipurpose fitness room.
The air source heat pumps originally used for pool and air heating were replaced by four EarthLinked geothermal systems with pool heating capability.
Although the EarthLinked systems were the medium cost option, they were chosen because of their design flexibility for primarily baseline pool heating plus the ability to provide backup air space conditioning when not being used for pool heating—a comfortable solution for both swimmers and the manager paying the bills!
