Met with Steve Kosbab, the Manager of Energy Services & Business Development at Meeker Cooperative Light & Power Assc. Steve and Meeker are strong proponents of geothermal systems and EarthLinked in particular as dealers are increasingly installing our systems throughout the Litchfield, MN service area. One of their own board of directors members, Juanita Olsen, had a system installed by EarthLinked top dealer Dale’s Heating & Air Conditioning.
Dale Flickinger, the owner of the company, and his team did an outstanding installation with all new ductwork and a dual-fuel setup. The install included a horizontal bore loop for the 4-ton system, going underground for 125 feet. The home was a 60-year-old farm house that lacked comfort or a balanced duct system. Dale’s corrected the situation with an efficient, energy-saving geothermal system that also provides optimum comfort for the homeowner.
Meeker is looking at adding additional incentives for homeowners to upgrade their homes for high efficiency systems in 2016. They will also be hosting another Energy Fair at their location next year, which will be announced in upcoming weeks.
