Tell us about yourself and your business.
I am the office manager for Buschur’s Refrigeration, a business my family started over 40 years ago. Located in St. Henry, Ohio, we have everything customers need for a safe, efficient and comfortable home. Our focus is bringing in the most innovative technologies to give our customers the best and longest lasting products on the market.
Tell us about your partnership with EarthLinked.
We first learned about EarthLinked in a meeting with a contractor. Our reputation and history of staying up-to-date with the latest technology in heating and cooling helped encourage us to sell EarthLinked. It was the best and most logical next step. Its effectiveness and simplicity speaks for itself – that’s originally why I became an authorized EarthLinked dealer, and we sold our first EarthLinked system more than 20 years ago. Since then, we have installed over 1,300 systems. I would absolutely recommend it to other dealers because the installation is hassle-free and there is virtually no maintenance post-installation. I think that’s what appeals to our customers the most.
What are your favorite things about the EarthLinked system?
I love the simplicity of it, and the easy installation. It requires only minimal digging (a three-inch circle to be exact) and we don’t need to worry about outside subcontractors. The effectiveness of it is also unparalleled with copper ground coil that conducts heat better, deep vertical ground loops that achieve more heat absorption, the lifetime warranty on the ground loop, no need for high priced fossil fuels, and the environmentally friendly design.
On top of those benefits, and most importantly, it lasts. There’s less maintenance than a conventional geothermal system because there isn’t water circulating pumps or back-up heat. Very few products on the market can do what the EarthLinked system does. That’s why it sells so well.
What type of feedback are you hearing from customers?
Customers are thrilled with EarthLinked. We hear incredible feedback. Systems installed over 10 years ago still run well. Customers always tell us they “love it so much” when we ask them what they think of their EarthLinked systems. There are no complaints because the technology doesn’t leave any room for them. The EarthLinked system is excellent.
Where do you see the future for geothermal?
I see geothermal technology as something that eventually everyone will be a part of, with EarthLinked leading the way. The great tax cut that comes with buying a geothermal system is a huge incentive for industry growth, as well. I recommend that everyone look into it.
