From Virginia down to Georgia, hot and dry summers and mild winters are the norm. While the lack of distinct seasons can be comforting for some, for others, it means accepting the temperatures generated by inefficient HVAC systems in order to keep heating and cooling costs low. Finding the right balance of temperature control and cost efficiency for homeowners with traditional HVAC systems throughout the seasons can be uncomfortable and difficult.
EarthLinked Geothermal Renewable Energy Systems provide homeowners with unparalleled geothermal cooling. Our systems offer consistent comfort, 100% of all heating and cooling needs and a decrease in heating and cooling costs. Through a uniquely innovative, simple design and effective operations, EarthLinked Geothermal Renewable Energy Systems optimize energy consumption and are more efficient than any other geothermal cooling and heating system on the market.
What is Geothermal and How Does it Work?
EarthLinked Geothermal Renewable Energy Systems deliver geothermal cooling in hot, summer months and comfortable heating in the winter by utilizing the natural energy underground. EarthLinked heat pumps convert that energy into cool air or heat before pumping it inside. Click here to learn more about how our geothermal cooling and heating systems work.

EarthLinked Technologies is proud to have hosted yet another training seminar in North Carolina. This time our Field Technical Support Manager, John Webster, visited us in South Wilmington to conduct the class. It’s a pleasure to see the new faces in attendance, all who are enthused to learn about waterless geothermal products.
Although the EarthLinked Geothermal Renewable Energy System is one of the most innovative technologies available in the market today, we’re able to keep the training to a one-day class because of the system’s inherent simplicity. Since most attendees are already familiar with an all-refrigerant system, the EarthLinked training seminar covers topics such as our patented refrigeration process and the variety of earth loop designs that can be applied to any size lot or type of site.
We believe that EarthLinked has the absolute best geothermal products available and are glad to bring on qualified new HVAC contractors to represent us.
Can you spot a yard where an EarthLinked Geothermal Renewable Energy System is installed? Probably not and that’s how we like it. The small footprint of the EarthLinked earth loops allow them to be installed in tight spaces with minimal disturbance to existing landscapes. Let’s just say that “we are easy on the eyes.”
When it comes to energy use, we believe less is more. With our highly effective earth loops we still do more work in less space than water geothermal systems. We’re betting that just like us, you can’t see the two loop fields in this photo.
So if you’re trying to find a system based on looks alone–we won’t think you’re shallow–the real eye candy is the bottom number on our customers’ power bills.
Why the increased popularity? Geothermal heat pumps were first developed in the 1940s as direct exchange systems. In the 1970s a water loop was added in order to supply large industrial applications. The industry grew around this industrial application. However, because of the smaller amount of ground piping needed per ton of capacity, direct exchange systems are better suited for residential applications . Direct exchange systems also are less complex and generally accepted as more efficient than water source heat pumps: they don’t require a water system and they have a better heat transfer capacity with the soil.
As today’s HVAC manufacturers seek ways to be more efficient and consumers desire to be more environmentally friendly, direct exchange geothermal systems are once again gaining the industry’s attention. We invite you to check out a geothermal system from the direct exchange manufacturer who not only has the most efficient system but the longest proven track record of geothermal installations. An EarthLinked Geothermal Renewable Energy System is the best choice for your project. See our online Savings Calculator.
We are excited to be joining Aspire Heating & Cooling of Mocksville, NC at the Piedmont Earth Day fair next weekend. Come out and join us on Saturday, April 23 to learn how you can improve your home’s comfort and efficiency by having Aspire install a new EarthLinked Geothermal Renewable Energy System in your home.
At the fair you can see how the system works. Ask questions. Meet the people who specialize in installing direct exchange geothermal systems throughout the Piedmont. Now is the time to get on the schedule to enjoy the benefits of a super efficient EarthLinked geothermal system that will keep you comfortable all summer long.
We will be sponsoring a contest at the fair to determine who can save the most money on their energy bill by using our online savings calculator. 2016 is a great time to get an EarthLinked geothermal system installed in your home or business while there is still a 30% federal tax credit available until the end of the year.
A 25% South Carolina Income Tax Credit was signed into law by Governor Nikki Haley on February 16, 2016. The tax credit applies to residential geothermal installations from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2018, and is in addition to the existing federal tax credit of 30%. With such a double bonus, this is a golden time to have an EarthLinked Renewable Energy Geothermal System installed in the Palmetto State.
A person in the right situation could have the most advanced, efficient and environmentally friendly heating and cooling system installed in their home for less than the average heating and cooling system. An EarthLinked Geothermal System can provide superior heating and cooling performance and exceptional comfort to your residence.
While the South Carolina tax credit is scheduled to run through 2018, the federal tax credit runs out soon. This year is the best time to take advantage of both credits as the federal credit expires December 31, 2016. Retirement seems a distant goal for many and statistics show that most people aren’t ready. Savings accounts are down, and expenses are up and predicted to rise. But one couple in Franklin, North Carolina is planning for the future. They made a wise investment in their retirement by having Aspire Heating & Cooling professionally design and install a new EarthLinked Geothermal Renewable Energy System in their home.
Not only is a geothermal system the most efficient heating and cooling investment you can make but it helps you reach and maintain retirement goals in two ways: by insulating from future rising energy costs and increasing the value of your home.
We rarely hear about decreased energy prices and in turn, we’ve grown accustomed to large monthly utility bills. However, homeowners who install EarthLinked Geothermal Renewable Energy Systems in their homes experience freedom from fluctuating heating costs. They avoid seasonal price increases and see a significant decrease in their utility bills.
One of the main reasons that geothermal systems have garnered increasing appeal is the 30 percent federal tax credit that is currently available for homeowners. It goes without saying, therefore, that prospective buyers will be attracted by the possible savings they could build up merely by owning a home that features geothermal heating.
We encourage you to use our Savings Calculator to see how an EarthLinked Geothermal System can make your future a little warmer.
The EarthLinked sales team gathered last week for training at the Unico System plant in St. Louis, Missouri. The Unico System, a small-duct system for heating and cooling, is a unique product line that will enable us to address new opportunities.
Since EarthLinked already has the only Energy Star qualified small-duct air handling system on the market, not only is our yard space requirement minimal but now our duct space is too.
Thanks to the Intagliata family and the Unico team for the hospitality and knowledge they shared with us. It was a good day!
